I often find it helpful to use the time between Christmas and the New Year to reflect on the year that’s ending and think about how I want things to be in the year that’s about to begin.
I like to think about what I’ve learnt, what went well and the challenges I’ve faced in the year that’s ending. Even a short reflection can throw up lots of insights.
For the year that will soon begin, well, I’m not a big fan of New Year’s resolutions, or detailed plans, but I do find it really useful to think about where I want to get to and come up with some ideas and a rough plan of action.
When I’m thinking ahead, sometimes I just brainstorm and jot down ideas, sometimes I like to follow a guide.
You can download the guide I’m using this year for free here.
Let me know what you think.
